Where is Croatia ?
On the eastern shore of the Adriatic sea and west from Alpine slopes, to the shores of the Danube and Drava rivers.

How expensive is Croatia ?
The average sallary in Croatia in 2007 is 700 euros per month. You can get private accomodation from 15 euros. Hotels are more expensive. Average price of meal is 5 euros , soft drinks or beer will cost you 1.5 or 2 euros .

How can we get there ?
By plane - the main airports are Zagreb, Split, Dubrovnik, Pula, Rijeka, Zadar, Brac and Osijek. Go to our info page for the list of airlines that fly to Croatia.

By ferry - From Ancona to Split , Vis and Hvar or from Venice to Porec or Pula during the summer.

By car - from Trieste-Italy to Koper-Slovenia and then into Istria - 100 km. From Ljubljana to Zagreb (140 km) or to Rijeka (120 km)

When is the best time to visit?
May to September is the best time of year to visit weather-wise.July and August can be busy along the Adriatic coast.
